FAYE (FABIOLA) ROBB (nee NORMANDIN) It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our own angel, our beloved mother, mamare, sister and aunt on January 8, 2005. Left to cherish her memory is her son Jack; daughter May and Doug Trager; her very precious grandchildren, Maggie and Lee; her sisters, Doris (Johannson) Turcotte, Julie Desrochers (Toronto); her brothers, Percy, Leo (Ochre River) and Renee Normandin; and brother-in-law Marcel Lavalee. Mom was predeceased by daughter-in-law Joan (1995); her husband Mel (1969); her parents, Aimee and Medee; her sisters, Yvette, Annette, Yvonne, Jeanette; and brothers, Pete and Buster. Mom was born in May 29, 1920, in St. Eustashe, MB, she spent her adult life in Transcona. She belonged to the Transcona Legion and C.W.L. Due to her mother's passing, Mom became the nurturing mother figure for all her siblings at a young age and this continued long after she had her own family. Mom always had a kind word and a smile which left a lasting memory of her kindness, to all who had the good fortune to meet her. Mom's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved going to the family get togethers and seeing all her relatives. She was affectionately known by all as Aunty Faye . Mom had many challenges in her life and with each one she would be more worried about someone other than herself. Her compassion and caring for others was undeniable. Mom moved to Tache Nursing Centre three years ago and was immediately embraced by the friendly and caring staff who wanted to take care of her but as usual Mom felt she had to care for them with her little gifts of cookies and candies!! We wish to thank the staff of Tache and especially 3 ABC, who gave Mom that individual care and understanding. A special mention to her nurses, Lynn, Denise, Diane and Luc who went above and beyond with their care and compassion for Mom. Your kindness will never be forgotten. If desired a donation may be made in Mom's name at Tache Nursing Centre, 185 Despins Ave., Winnipeg, MB (233-3692). Rest in Peace Mom Your work here is done... You are gone but Never Forgotten A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 13 at 1:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

I haven't seen you in years, however I saw that your mom passed and I wanted to say how very very sorry I am for your loss. Just know Jack that I think of you often and hope you get past this tough time with ease knowing you have people that care. I'm sure Maggie will be a huge support system for you and your family in your times of need. - Posted by: Jan Smith (Thompson) (Acquaintance) on: Jan 17, 2005
