KENNETH BLAIR Suddenly on January 6, 2005, at the age of 64 years, Kenneth John Teasdale Blair passed away. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Valerie Rose. He leaves behind with much sorrow his daughters, Alison, Vanessa (Rob) and Estelle (Mike); as well as eight grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Jenessa, Courtney, Elyssa and Dylan (who grandpa called Marshall). He will be deeply missed by his brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Brenda Blair of England, Dave Burke of Winnipeg; his nephews and nieces, Julian of Denmark, Paul of New York, and Elliot, Andrew, Debra, Claire and Matthew of England; and many, many others that he touched throughout his life. He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Lillian Blair of England; his sisters, Margaret and Doreen of England; and his mother and father-in-law, Rose and Richard Jeal of England. He was born in England and brought his family to Canada in 1970 to Calgary, AB and moved to Winnipeg, MB a few years later. In 1991 they moved to Surrey, BC. He retired from Lennox Industries in 2000 after being with them for 30 years and moved to Peachland, BC to start his retirement. They were looking forward to spending many years in Peachland together where they had made many good friends. He enjoyed travelling, working on genealogy with his brother, playing pool, and spending the summers with his grandchildren. Our sincere thanks to the many people in Ontario, Oregon and Peachland who helped our family following our tragic loss. A funeral service will be held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church in Peachland on Wednesday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. ARBOR WESTWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements (250) 768-3702.

  • So sorry to hear the sad news but thankful to have met Ken and Val again after alot of years and to have had the chance to find out what a lovely man he was. Many thanks for your taking the time to meet with us all again and for the hospitality you showed to Paul when he stayed with you.
