Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLEN OLGA DUNITS (nee HRUBENIUK) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Ellen Dunits, on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at the age of 83, at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Peter, in November 1986. She will be remembered lovingly by her nine children, Edward (Linda) Dunits, Patricia Dunits, David (Janet) Dunits, Marcella (Stan) Copp, Ernest Dunits, Theresa Dunits, Jane Durhack, Glen Dunits, and James Dunits. She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren, Troy (Cheryl) Dunits, Tracey (Graham) Macknak, Tricia (Reed) Edgeworth, Jennifer Dunits, David (Kelly) Copp, Jeff (Heather) Copp, Cindy (Darren) Copp-Waterfield, Krista, Jamie, Monique Durhack; and also six great-grandchildren, Taryn and Shay Edgeworth, Colton and Riley Copp, Michael and Emily Copp. She is also survived by her sister Anne, and numerous relatives and friends who will all remember her. Mom was born in Rossburn, MB in 1922 where she enjoyed her youth until she met Peter and started a long married life for 47 years, being a companion and sharing in working the farm and raising her family as her main purpose. She was a devoted church member and enjoyed giving of her time and cooking skills in helping of the congregation of the St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre, for their wonderful and caring support during her stay. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 77 Douglas Ave., with Rev. Klimchuk in attendance. Private interment will follow in the family cemetery plot. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or charity of your choice.
