ARNIE ANZEW
Born: Oct 31, 1947
Date of Passing: Jan 06, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNIE ANZEW October 31, 1947 - January 6, 2005 Suddenly, on January 6, 2005, a gallant husband, best father in the world and best friend left this world in Miami, surrounded by his wife Jane, son Ryan and daughter-in-law Christine. Arnie suffered many years with a cardiac condition and more recently with cancer. He fought courageously through these illnesses, always trying to care for everyone around him. Arnie was born in Courcelles, Belgium, and came to Canada as a young boy with his parents and settled in Thunder Bay. Arnie faced many challenges growing up - caring for his younger brothers and family, but he was determined to succeed and completed a university degree, excelled in basketball and sports and was president of the university student council. Arnie worked for the CIBC for many years and then pursued his career in insurance sales and many entrepreneurial ventures. He was the eternal optimist in making a project work and never afraid to try anything and work tirelessly to make it happen. Arnie's greatest tribute was his great love and care for his family, extended family and his many friends. His zest for life was an inspiration to all of us, and his wit and humour will always be remembered. He lived life to the fullest capacity without any regrets. Arnie leaves behind his loving wife Jane; his beloved son Ryan and his wife Christine; his brother David (Connie); nephew Matthew; his stepdaughters, Carina (Dale) and baby Brendan, Wendy (Gordon) and his loving ex-wife Jennifer. He was predeceased by his parents Sergei and Salme; his brother Elmer and infant daughter Shelby. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. Flowers gratefully declined but if you wish, Arnie would have liked donations to be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in his memory. Many thanks to Dr. Teresa Cavett who was so good to Arnie. Grieve not too long for me as I am at peace and not far away - I loved you all and know you loved me. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
