GILBERTE GAIL LABOSSIERE (nee GRENIER) Peacefully with love showering down on her from her family, Gilberte passed on to start her next stage of life with her parents, brothers and sisters who have gone before. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years Andre; her children, Robert (Michelle), Daniel (Georgette), Collette (Michael), Norma (David), Lynne (Paul), Marc, Joanne (Mario), Pierre (Christine) and Yvette; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Gilberte is also survived by her siblings, Marcelline, Roger (Edith), Alice (Albert) and Oliver; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Louis, Flore, Yvonne, Len, Angele, Denise, Hilda, Yolande, Denis (Germaine), Elodie (Camille), Sylvia and Adelard (Denise). She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Josephine; her parents-in-law, Adolphis and Alice; her siblings, Florence, Gisele (Gregoire), Doralice (Armand), Alfred, Lucien and Marie; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joseph, Isabelle (Camiel), Lucienne (Albert), Evelyne (Jean), Alphonse, Romeo (Doreen), Germaine (John), George and Theodore. Gilberte was a member of the Daughters of Isabelle. Family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Bruneau and Dr. Desmond and all the staff at the Lorne Memorial Hospital for their limitless care and compassion given to Mom and her family throughout her illnesses. Thanks also to the home care workers who gave her their special touch everyday. Hugs and kisses to all special family members who helped Dad and the kids during our time of need. We love you Mom, we will never forget. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gilberte's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
