Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS KATHERINE (DOROTHY) IVANCHUK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Katherine (Dorothy) Ivanchuk on January 5, 2005. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her beloved sister Nancy; long time friend William (Bill) Byskal; nephew Robert (Nancy); and her grand-niece Melissa (Jay); and grand-nephews, Michael and Cory Ivanchuk. Joining us in remembering Doris are the Spatuck and Parkes families and many friends in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Ontario. Doris lived her life with a wonderful sense of humour and brought smiles and laughter to the many lives she touched. Her career included her work with Government of Manitoba - Taxation Department. Doris was an active member of St. Gerard Parish. Her life long love of music and painting will remain in our hearts ever more. Evening prayer service will be held on Wednesday, January 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel with Rev. Fr. Pierre Wood officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Doris's memory to the charity of your choice. And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and seek God unencumbered. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

I am so sorry to hear from a friend that Dorothy has passed on. Dorothy and Nancy were neighbours of my hushand Jed and myself for 11 years. When we moved to 55 Prevette St. in 1971, Dorothy immediatley endeared herself to our family. I remember her as a very warm, giving person. We had many conversations over the side fence.
