THERESE MARIE ROSS (nee COURNOYER) Mom made a peaceful transition to be with our Lord on Monday, January 10, 2005. Even though we knew her time was to be short-lived on our Earth, it still broke our hearts to say good-bye. What soothes our souls is that she is now in Dad's arms. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Aurele (2000); their first daughter, Claudette (1948); parents - Eugene, Antoinette; brothers - Rene, Alfred, Rodolphe, Armand, Joseph, Gerard, Jean; sisters - Laurence (Aime), Germaine (Paul); brother-in-law, Telesphore. Mom was born on November 19, 1922. She married Aurele in Ste. Anne, MB on July 4, 1945. Her passions in life were Dad, family get-togethers, playing cards, bingo, curling, bowling and watching hockey games. She was always there to lend a hand and company would be assured un ti coup and a delicious lunch. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Denis (Angele), children - Daniel, Gerard, Philippe, Nicole (Chris), Carole; Claudette (Art), children - Joanne (Jaime), Michelle (Dave), Denise, Marie (Mitja), Raymond, Alfred, Jeanne (Adrian); Gilbert (Mae), children - Stephanie (Brad), Richard (Donna), Catherine (Brian); Claude; Gisele (friend Trent). Mom was blessed with eight great-grandchildren - Ashley, Alexander, Brett; Aidan, Zane; Victoria; Cory; Darian. Also, to mourn Mom's passing are her sisters - Emma (Jean), Rita (Denis), Sr. Rose, Ida, Adele (Leo); sisters-in-law, Yvette, Louise, Madeleine; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Prayers will take place at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at the Notre Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church in Lorette, MB with L'Abbe Armand Le Gal officiating. Therese will be laid to rest immediately following the service. Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne who so tenderly cared for Mom. You are an amazing bunch, God bless you all. Therese, you were loved much and will be greatly missed. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
