MARIE TICHIT (nee JULIEN) 1911 - 2005 Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Tuesday, January 11, 2005, Mrs. Marie Tichit of Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB passed away at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Denis Tichit and Laurie (Vicky Velle) Tichit of Notre Dame de Lourdes; three grandchildren, Lynne Tichit Lodge (Kelly), Roger Tichit (Jennifer) and Marcel Tichit (Danielle); three great-grandchildren, Quinten Lodge, Reiden Tichit and Tristen Lodge. She also leaves one sister-in-law Marie (Tichit) Spurlock of St. Catherines, ON; one brother-in-law Dick Peel of Vancouver, BC; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. She was predeceased by he husband Henri Tichit in 1957; her parents, Marius Julien and Anna (nee Hebrard); three brothers, Jean-Baptiste Julien (Marie Hebrard), Emile Julien, and Prevat Julien; five sisters, Virginie (Henri Le Comte), Louise Julien, Augustine (Ernest Deurbrouck), Antoinette (Dick Peel) and Helene (Paul Chammartin); two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law, Celine Tichit (Joseph LePodere), Eglantine Tichit (Alphonse Guigueno), Gerard Lagimodiere and Harold Spurlock. Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Thursday, January 13 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Alphonse Bongo officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Notre Dame Foyer.
