FRANK J. CHIEF September 4, 1932 - January 9, 2005 Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease, our beloved husband, father, grandfather Frank Chief passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Frank was born on the St. Peters Reserve. He joined the army in 1950, serving overseas during the Korean War with the Little Black Devils. Predeceased by his son Jay. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Phyllis of 44 years; six sons, Patrick, Flannigan, Frank Jr., Donovan, Kelly and Timmy; four daughters, Jacqueline Courchene (David), Nancy, Christina and Carol; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandson; sister Mary Ann Olson; brother Cecil Chief; numerous nieces and nephews. Frank enjoyed spending time, playing with his grandchildren. He loved music especially playing guitar. He was a hard working man all his life, who provided for his family. His last job was working with the Corps of Commissionaires. Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 16 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel. Interment Brookside Cemetery. We express our heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, especially 5th Floor - Unit 5 for all their care and support.
