Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY EILEEN DODDS (nee FEY) October 21, 1928 - January 12, 2005 Peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 Audrey passed away with her family at her side at the age of 76. Audrey is survived by her children, Lenore (Dick), Elaine (Rick), Susan (Bill), Darlene (Gordie), Barbara, Douglas and Wendy; grandchildren, Erica (Kyle), Rhea, Ryan, Brandon, Jason, Craig (Vanessa), Amber, Devon, Aaron, Todd, Kevin (foster child), Kristin and Dexter (Sandra); great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Shailynn, Kelson, Bryce and Alison. Audrey is also survived by her six brothers, six sisters and their families who were always there to love and support her. She will also be missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Eva Fey; and in 2001 her husband William Carl Dodds. Audrey and Bill were married for 53 years and together shouldered the good and bad. They enjoyed traveling west, visiting family and friends, camping and fishing and wintering in Mexico. Audrey loved to read and enjoyed having her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren near by. Audrey was always there with a smile and a kind word for family and friends...no one would go without. The house was always open for everyone who needed a place to stay...the coffee was always on and mom always made sure everyone was taken care of. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home with Major Kathy McFarlene officiating. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
