SHERYL ANN MACK (nee SHYMKIW) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Sheryl on January 12, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the young age of 37 years. Sheryl will be sadly missed by her husband Greg; daughters, Ashley and Carly; and son Nicholas; mom and dad, Joan and Dennis Shymkiw; brother Robert; sister Jaylene (Michael); nieces, Brittany and Allyssa; mother and father-in-law, Norma and Don Mack; the Klyzub family along with all extended families. Sheryl was predeceased by her first husband Nicholas Klyzub in 1992. Sheryl was a fun, loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who spent her happiest days with her family. She enjoyed reading and country music very much. She deeply touched everyone in her life and her absence will be greatly felt. To the living, I am gone To the sorrowful, I will never return To the angry, I was cheated But to the happy, I am at peace And to the faithful, I never left. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Boniface Hospital, SICU and MICU for their wonderful care and support. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to a trust fund for Ashley, Nicholas and Carly at Transcona Credit Union, 1300 Plessis Rd., Winnipeg, MB. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I went to St. John’s High School with Sheryl and she was always such a wonderful confidant. When she laughed, everyone wanted to be in on what she thought was so funny and then joined laughing along. She had a wonderful sense of humour. She was loving and gentle, caring and loyal. It sounds as though she carried these wonderful characteristics into her adulthood sharing them with those she loved so. I am so sorry I was not made aware of her passing or I would have been there. To those left behind, no condolence could fill the place her passing has left behind, but know that being loved by Sheryl (Mom, Aunt, etc.,) was an incredible gift. Try to hold onto those smiles and moments. They are so cherishable as the memories I have of such a lovely friend. - Posted by: Tracey Kominowski-Leclerc (High School Friend) on: Aug 14, 2018
