RAINER KOSSMANN April 27, 1946 - January 4, 2005 Rainer passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2005 at his home in Fort Smith, NWT. Rainer is survived by his close companion Susan and his two daughters, Tamara (Aaron), Katherine (Brent). He also leaves to mourn his mother Anita; his sister Anne; and brothers, Karsten, Wilbur (Denise). He was predeceased by his father Henry. Rainer will also be remembered by Susan's children, Shannah (Mark), David (Katie); and the mother of his children Maureen (Rick). Rainer was always ready for a good cup of coffee and philosophical debate. He possessed a brilliant mind which he tried to share with others. Rainer had a deep love for computers, books and music. He was deeply involved with his church where his baritone voice could be heard often. Rainer had a love of small towns and planted his roots in the wonderful community of Fort Smith. Rainer was laid to rest on January 7, 2005 in Fort Smith near the church and in the community that understood his uniqueness. He is now at peace.
