Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE FRIESEN Peacefully, surrounded by his family, George Friesen of Cartier, MB passed away January 11, 2005 at the Deer Lodge Centre. He is survived by his wife Katherine, son Kenneth (Elaine), grandchildren Kelsey and Julie of Calgary, AB, daughter Jennifer Finney of Victoria, BC and son Gerald of Cartier, MB. George was born January 19, 1912 in Ukraine. George and Katherine spent most of their lives farming in the Headingly area. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Springstein Mennonite Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Viewing will be prior to the service.
