He will be sadly missed by daughter Debbie (Bob) Ledoux; sons, Barry (Shannon) and Blake; grandchildren, Jaylene, Cory, Robyn, Larissa, Tesla and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Austin and Hannah and his best friend and companion Cheeta. Dad was born the 13th child to Blondena and Adolf. Predeceased by his parents, sisters; Julia, Esther, Ella, Lil, Mary, Lenora and Evelyn, brothers; Adam, Ben, Eddie, Rubin and infant granddaughter Tristyn. Surviving siblings are brother Dan and sister Marg. Dad worked as an Auto Body painter with Rivers Brothers, St. James Volkswagen and finally Kruse Auto Body. He retired in 1989. Dad built the cottage at Twin Lake Beaches with the help of family and friends in 1977. In 1995 he moved to the lake permanently where he peacefully passed away in his favourite chair. Dad will be forever remembered as the Great Outdoorsman . His years were moulded around the various hunting and fishing seasons. If he wasn't actively involved in hunting or fishing, he was planning his next outdoor adventure or telling us his many stories about them. There were many exotic vacations Dad enjoyed with trips to Disneyland, Hawaii, Barbados and Mexico. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17th at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. We would like to extend a special thank you to friend and neighbor Amie Gauthier for all his kindness, help and support over the years. Donations can be made in Dad's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Dad - Your soul may be in Heaven but your spirit will forever remain with us through the many memories we hold so dear. Until we meet again....
