ANNIE DREYSKO 1909 - 2005 Peacefully, on January 12, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital, our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Annie Dreysko, passed away at age 95 years. Annie was born in Western Ukraine, coming to Canada in 1929. She settled in Transcona where she had spent her entire life, devoting herself to her home and raising a family. Annie was independent and outgoing and had enjoyed two trips back to the Ukraine to visit with her brothers and sisters and extended family. A loving and caring mother she will never be forgotten and will be sadly missed by all. Annie leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her family, daughter Jessie Rudenski and sons, Walter (Margaret) and Roman (Ron) and wife Denise; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Michael and grandson Rodney. Funeral service to be conducted by Fr. Michael Krochak on Tuesday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so wish memorial donations may be made to a favourite charity. Vichnaya Pam'Yat Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
