HARRY WOYTOWICH Peacefully, after a short but heroic battle, it is with deepest regret that we announce the death of Harry Woytowich, on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at the age of 73 years. He is survived by and has left to mourn, his bride of four months, Joycelyn; sister Olga Kravetz (Alec); brother-in-law Hank Bender (Stella); sons, Brian Woytowich (Dolly, Brian Jr., Chad, Dora and Baby Yvonne) and Shawn Conway; daughters, Linda Spence (Kurtis, Greg and Riley), Cathy Stetz (Allan) and Cindy Smith (Brad, James and Bradley); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Harry was predeceased by his loving wife Pauline, who was suddenly taken from him in 1982, after 31 years of marriage. Harry was born in Manitoba on October 2, 1931 and resided in the Winnipeg area his entire life. After a career with the CNR - Transcona Shops, he retired in September of 1993. Upon his retirement, Harry was able to do what he loved, travel to visit family and he made frequent trips to Texas, Los Angeles and Red Lake. His strongest conviction was to family, but he touched many lives and will be remembered for his generosity and helpful ways. Always being the first to lend a hand or to arrive at the arena, or field to cheer us on. Harry loved life itself, people and especially children. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Harry's Life on Wednesday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sherwood Park Church of God, 554 Marsden St. (corner of Munroe Avenue and Marsden Street) with Gary Fries officiating. His family will forever be indebted to Joyce for the joy and love that she brought to Dad's life and for sharing with us the precious little time she had with him. Dad, Gramps, you truly were our best friend and confidant, our mentor and conscience, and our biggest supporter and fan. How will we go on?
