Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELVIN EDWARD ADAMS Elvin Edward Adams passed away on September 10, 2004 at the age 62 of a heart attack. Elvin is survived by his wife Marj of 41 years. Sons, Patrick, Allen (friend Brenda) and Bob (fiancee Michelle). He is survived by brother Wayne (Joan) and family, sister-in-law Clara and family, Brother-in laws, Mervin (Marg) and family, Bernie (Fern) and family, Brian and fiancee Jan. Predeceased by his parents, Ed and Ethel, and his brother Don, father and mother-in-law George and Jean Misselbrook. Elvin was born January 31, 1942 and raised in Goodlands. He held various construction jobs throughout Manitoba and in 1965, Elvin and Wayne started Adams Concrete and Gravel in Deloraine. They ran a successful business and formed many close relationships with friends and employees. In 1990 the business was sold and thus began a life of retirement. Elvin and Marj enjoyed travelling in their RV and spent many winters in Arizona and Texas. His favourite hobby was woodworking of which many beautiful articles were created. He also enjoyed being out on the water cruising in his pontoon. The funeral was held September 14th in Deloraine United Church with Susan Everton officiating. Internment was in Deloraine Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Dunc Mills, Keith Wells, Pat Gervin, Bill Morningstar, Ben Heibert and Murray McArthur.
