HAROLD WESTMAN It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Harold Westman on Monday, January 17, 2005. Harold will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Myra; three children, son Craig (Linda), daughter Janis (Randy) Bigourdin, and daughter Karen (Richard) Gyselinck; four grandchildren, Kyle, Laura, Terence and Taylor; sisters-in-law, Gladys and Muriel; his cousin Martin (Liz) Markiewich; and longtime friends, Ray (Elsie) Finn. Harold was born April 26, 1922 in Winnipeg. He served his country in the RCAF during The Second World War. After the war Harold worked for the Winnipeg Tribune (Comp. Room) for 35 years until its closure in 1981. He enjoyed golfing and the many friends he made at the Elmhurst Golf and Country Club, where he was member for 32 years. Mom and Dad spent many winters in Long Boat Key, Florida. Dad was an avid sports enthusiast, following all sports, especially the Winnipeg Jets. Dad enjoyed spending time with his family and will be lovingly remembered and missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Harold's Life on Thursday, January 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Harold's memory to a charity of one's choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
