RITA FONTAINE (nee BERGERON) Rita nous a quitte paisiblement le samedi 15 janvier 2005 a l'age de 80 ans. Elle va nous manquer enormement et sa presence parmi nous sera gravee a tout jamais dans notre memoire. Elle laisse dans le deuil son mari Leon et de nombreux parents et amis. Rita will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by Leon, her husband of 62 years; five sons, Denis (Jacqueline), Martial (Noella), Rene (Colette), Roger (Kathy), Marc (Donna); and one daughter Jocelyne (Gerald); three brothers, George (Jeannette), Rodolphe and Guy (Ria); and two sisters, Lucille and Germaine; numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws and dear friends of the family, Evelyn, Mariette and Sonja. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Nicole (Ron), Jacques, Francine, Danielle (Nathan), Natalie, Michel, Andre, Richard, Natasha, Rene Arden, Bjorn, Linda, Eric, Martin, Alain; and great-grandchildren, Micah, Stephanie and Christian. Rita was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Beatrice (nee Philippon) Bergeron; one son Gerald; one grandchild Marcel; and sister Claire. Rita aimait bien celebrer tous ceux et celles qui l'entouraient. Chaque occasion importante devenait raison pour une recontre chaleureuse en famille. Elle preparait tout minutieusement, avec beaucoup d'amour, afin d'offrir a tous ses convives ces moments de bonheur. Elle pouvait reconnaitre nos besoins et nous offrait genereusement son appui dans les moments les plus difficiles. Nous te remercions de toutes ces delicatesses et tenons a te reiterer que nous t'aimons beaucoup. Rita would always strive to make every family gathering a most pleasant event. We will be forever grateful for her quest for perfection and for the particular care, attention and love with which she filled our daily lives and alleviated our sorrows. Let this be her legacy. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends and family so desire, donations in Rita's memory can be made to the Foyer Valade Development Fund, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Paroisse Precieux-Sang, 200 rue Kenny, Saint-Boniface, with Father Marcel Carriere presiding. La famille veut remercier le personnel du Foyer Valade des soins exceptionnels et de la compassion dont ils ont fait preuve durant sa longue maladie.
