ROMAN ROZTOCIL (The Friendly Plumber) We are sad to announce that after a tough battle with brain cancer, our friendly plumber passed away on January 16, 2005. Roman is survived by his wife Jana; brother Otto; daughter Jana (Paul), daughter Monica; son Martin; grandsons, Tyler and Cody and granddaughter Caitlyn. He was predeceased by his mother Libuse. Although his family was small, they were the most important thing in his life. He cherished every moment he spent with his children, and then later his grandchildren. Roman was born February 18, 1941, in Czechoslovakia, and later moved himself, his wife, brother and mother to Canada in 1969. Plumbing was his career of choice, and he relished every day he could work. A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. A reception will follow in our reception area.
