Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL MARGARET CONRAD Hazel Margaret Conrad (nee Chambers) passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2005 after a lengthy respiratory illness. Hazel is survived by her loving husband H. Joseph of 54 years; son John; daughters, Anne Eastman (Ron), Shirley Carter (James), Janice Poleschuk (Matthew); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Grace (Logan), one sister and four brothers. Hazel was born in Halifax, NS. After marrying Joe in 1951 they moved to Winnipeg, where they raised their family. In her earlier years she was on many committees at Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish including President of the CWL. She also served as President of Springfield Heights Home and School Association. Hazel worked as a receptionist at the Springfield Heights Medical Centre for 20 years. We will always remember Mom for her commitment to her family and church. Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks to the attentive and caring nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre and to Dr. Warren. The family is forever grateful for the compassion and love you gave to Nana. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a funeral mass to celebrate Hazel's life will be held on Friday, January 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish, 264 Donwood Dr. Fr. Wenceslao Rebillaco will be officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hazel's memory may be made to Riverview Health Centre Foundation (Respiratory Care Unit). We will greatly miss our wife, mother, and Nana, her great sense of humour and zest for life. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
