RAY ALTHAM 1917 - 2005 Peacefully and with the fervent hope of again joining his late wife Gladys (1922 - 1999), Ray passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2005. Ray was predeceased by his father Thomas Altham; mother Lillian Altham; as well as an elder brother, Richard. During the Second World War, Ray served in the R.C.A.F. as a tail gunner with the rank of Pilot Officer, until he and his crew were shot down over Dortmund, Germany and taken prisoners of war. Throughout his employed life, Ray was primarily involved in both sales and personnel management. Ray and his wife Gladys were most happy while spending the winter months golfing on Marco Island, Florida. In compliance with Ray's wishes, a private funeral service has been held.
