PAUL GUY JEANSON, son of the late Georges Jeanson (1977) and Lucienne Gregoire (2002) passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17, 2005 at the Grace Hospice at the age of 63 years. Paul was born in Lorette, MB in 1941 and at the age of 16, began working at Bathurst Consolidated and then Mid West Packaging until his retirement in 2001. Paul loved to play golf with his good friends at the St. Boniface Golf Course, which he did for 30 years as a long time member. He also had a devoted passion for the Montreal Canadiens. Big P was a character who could always make you laugh and have a good time. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and family. Paul is survived by his two sons, Darren and wife Joanne and their children, Jade and Braeden; Darcy and his wife Kirstyn. Paul is also survived by his brothers, Andre (Pam) and Marc (Ainslie); sister Joanne Harvey (Rene); brother-in-law Sylvio Lachance; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Juliette (1998) and Nicole (1999). The Jeanson family would like to thank the Grace Hospice and their staff for taking such good care of Paul. We would also like to thank the 5th floor at Health Sciences Centre and CancerCare Manitoba Doctors Kerr and Sutherland. A special thank you to Rolly and Darlene Marion for all you've done. Funeral service will be held at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood in St. Boniface at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28 with a reception following at the St. Boniface Golf Course, 100 Youville St. at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Salvation Army Grace Hospice. Dear Jeanson Family, Our hearts our with you in this time and always. We loved Paul like he was our own family. We have so many very fond memories of him that we will cherish always.
