Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
I worked for Doug at Lynn Lake, 1955/57 and it was Doug who used his influence to get me into the University of Manitoba where I graduated from Geological Engineering in 1963. I had a great career in the mining industry and am now retired and living in Mississauga, Ontario. I have never forgotten Doug's influence on my career, particularly, his help in getting me into U of M when I had come from Ontario - Posted by: JIM MARSHALL (Co-Worker) on: Jan 22, 2005
When a young guy from 66-69, used to talk with Doug in his office, an opportunity to smoke my pipe with him at work. Enjoyed the things he had to say. - Posted by: Vic Laird (Acquaintance) on: Jan 21, 2005
