YVETTE BOALER (nee PRETEAU) Peacefully on January 20, 2005, Yvette passed away with her family by her side at Le Repos Jolys in St. Pierre Jolys, MB. Yvette was born on July 30, 1929 in St. Malo, MB. She was a loving wife, a caring mother and grandmother, and a wonderful friend to many. After raising her family, she pursued a nursing career and devoted many years working at the DeSalaberry Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. Her best times were spent travelling with Al and enjoying the outdoors. Yvette is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Alan; her children, Jeannette (Paul) Ruest, Real (Eveline) Turenne, Michel (Kathy) Turenne, Joanne (Marty) Geurts, Ron (Bonnie) Turenne; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; twin sister Annette Forest; sisters, Anita Carriere, Marie St-Jean, Suzanne Proulx, Lauriana (Oscar) Audette; brother-in-law Colin (Edith) Boaler; sisters-in-law, Trudy Boaler, Bernice Preteau and Lola Preteau; brothers and sisters-in-law from the Turenne family and many nieces and nephews. Yvette was predeceased by her first husband Jean Turenne; her parents, Jean-Baptiste and Valerie (Gauthier) Preteau; her sister Laurette Courcelles; her brothers, Aubert Preteau and Fabien Preteau. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Pierre Catholic Church in St. Pierre Jolys on January 22 at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Edmond Turenne will be officiating. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Le Repos Jolys for the love and care they gave Mom during her stay there. Special thanks to Aunt Annette and her daughters for their love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Le Repos Jolys, De Salaberry District Health Centre, P.O.
