GLADYS MARGARET WARES (nee RAYMENT) Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, Gladys Margaret Wares passed away at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; her brother Gordon Rayment and by her granddaughter Beatrice Amber Wares. Gladys is survived by her sons, Stuart (June) Wares and their children, Jason, Joshua, Catherine, Matthew, Erin and Michael; Robert (Bonnie) Wares and their children, Paul, Trevor and Shaun; brother Charles Rayment (Bernice); brother-in-law Les Wares; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was employed as a secretary for the Winnipeg One School Division as well as the Department of Veteran Affairs for numerous years. Gladys enjoyed travelling with friends, knitting, sewing and needlework. She was a dedicated member of Eastern Star for many years. The family extends their thanks to the entire staff at the Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care 3-E. Special thanks to Mom's angels, Andrea and Barb; Dr. Crow and Brian for their friendship and special care, and to Ina for her compassion and poetry. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glady's memory to the Palliative Care Unit of the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2L 3P4.
