ALFRED IRVINE 1913 - 2005 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alfred, on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at the Selkirk and District Hospital, at the grand age of 91 years. He will be greatly missed by his children, Nancy (John), Sharon (Ian), Linda (Frank), Terry (Robert) and Kelly; his grandchildren, Debbie (Bruce), Stacey (Rob), Russell, Samantha (Niel), Bradley (Stephanie), Catharine (Darryl), Robert Jr., Christy, Brittany, Brenna, Becky and Kelly Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Daniel, Sabrina, Riley and Hannah. Alfred was predeceased by his loving wife, Gladys, of 57 years of marriage, in 1998; and his beloved grandson Vinson in 2004. In keeping with dad's wishes, a private family ceremony will take place at a later date. Our family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Red River Place and the Selkirk and District Hospital for their love and the gentle care they gave dad during his stay with them. Their kindness and compassion was greatly appreciated. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Alfred's memory may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
