Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET WALKER (nee HANSON) It is with deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother on January 19, 2005. Born in England, Margaret later met and married her husband Harry Vernon while he was serving with the RCAF during the Second World War. On returning to Canada, Margaret and Vernon raised their family in Winnipeg. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Vernon; son Frank and sister Alice. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Myrna (Don) Lanthier; sons, Gary (Diane) Walker, Kerry (Barb) Walker; grandchildren, Lisa (Al), Kyle (Heather), Lyren (Jay), Jesse, Michael, Braedon and Weston; great-grandchildren, Kaliegh, Tanner, Kayla and Saige. Also left to cherish her memory is her loving family in England, brothers, Bill (late wife Dot), Henry (Barbara), Jim (Irene) and their families. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow. Margaret will be laid to rest beside her husband Harry in the family plot at Brookside Cemetery.
