ROSE ISABEL ROBINSON (nee PATE) July 17, 1908 - January 20, 2005 Peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2005, at the Victoria General Hospital, Rose Robinson, wife of the late Grant Robinson, passed away. Rose was born in London, England, where she met Grant and they were married in 1942. In 1945 Rose came to Canada as a war bride. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Grant in 1992; her parents, two brothers and a sister. Rose is survived by her daughter Shirley Neumann; granddaughters, Jodi and Dana (Rick); great-grandchildren, Cole and Zoey. Also surviving Rose is a niece Pauline in England; sisters-in-law Eileen, Betty, Shirley and Pat. Rose was a member of Westworth United Church for many years and also a member of Wildewood I.O.D.E. Many thanks to the staff at Rosewood and the Victoria General Hospital for their care and kindness Rose received at the end of her years. Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Unit 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or a charity of choice.
