ANNE MARIE HOPKO (BUDZINSKI) It is with sincere deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of their dear Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma on January 20, 2005 at the age of 78. Anne was predeceased by her husband John of 35 years. Her sisters; Joyce Richards, Frances Budzinski, Pauline Woytowich, her brothers-in-law, Bill, Harry and Ed and her parents Rose Anthony Budzinski. She leaves to mourn her passing her sister Jeanette Kormilo of Arborg, her five daughters, Norma Weiss (Herman), Karen Hopko (the late Bob Tulloch), Sandy LeMoine (Don), Marlene Mulhearn (Steve) and Ruth Smyrski (Dale). Her nine grandchildren; Ken (Izabel), Brad (Jen), Kevin, Vern (Kim), Tracy (Nathan), Brenda, Shannon, Meghan and Hayley; great-grandchildren Madison and Braden as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anne was a loving and caring person who was the sunshine of her families life. She was born in Winnipeg on February 13, 1926. In 1944 she began a teaching career which took her out to the Lac du Bonnet area where she met her husband John. Life in the country proved challenging at times but there was nothing her strong will and determination could deter. A talented painter, her artwork gave her great pleasure. She was also a skilled sewer, crafter and she loved knitting and crocheting. Her handmade garments and crafts will be forever cherished by the whole family. She will be so deeply missed by everyone who knew her and will never be forgotten. A service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave. Mom, You were our Sunshine and our Strength You will be forever in our hearts. We will all be together again one sweet day.
