MELISSA ANNE PEARSEHOUSE It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the tragic loss of Melissa Pearsehouse of New Bothwell, MB on January 20, 2005. Melissa will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her mother Cathy (Mike); father Scott and wife Patricia; brother Jessie; sister Amber; grandparents, Patricia and Roger Fontaine; Patricia and Alvin Pearsehouse; Margaret and George Dicks, uncle Mark (Michele) Fontaine, Auntie Sherra (Tom) Papaioannou, Tamara (Brett) Deitzer/Dicks, Karen (Doug) Fjeld. As well as her cousins, Taylor, Teagan, Karleigh, Nicholas, Amelia, Cassidy, Hunter, Rosalie. Melissa was a student at Steinbach Regional School, enrolled in the cosmetology program. She was an artistic girl who loved to draw and write poems and stories. She loved animals and would adopt many stray and ailing pets. Melissa enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and shared her warmth with many underprivileged and homeless people. Melissa's warm and loving personality lit up every room she entered. She was a genuine girl whose heart of gold was apparent to us all. Her quick wit and sense of humour put smiles on all our faces everyday. Melissa was a free spirit and her love for life was an inspiration to us all. She will be sadly missed, and in our hearts forever. Many thanks to family and friends for your support during this saddest of times. A special thanks to David Weibe for looking out for and loving Melissa so dearly. A celebration of Melissa's life will be held on Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Melissa's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 9Z9. • There are those who believe so the story is told. That at birth you receive your own Angel to hold. You come into this world on a wing and a prayer and throughout your lifetime she will always be there. A guardian Angel who will guide what you do, her pure essence is love sent to watch over you. Melissa you are with us today, tomorrow and always. You are forever our guardian Angel. xoxo Auntie Sherra, Uncle Tom, Karleigh & Nicholas - Posted by: Sherra Papaioannou (Family) on: Jan 25, 2013

  • Melissa, It is so hard to believe that you are gone, but yet we know you are with us...We find peace knowing that God needed you to be somewhere else. Why sooner rather than later is the question that we ask. Karleigh & Nicholas are missing you dearly, they couldn't have asked for a better "big" cousin, nor we for a more beautiful "niece"...We are comforted knowing that you are watching over us and you will remain in our hearts & souls forever. Fly Away My Angel, Until We Meet Again Loving you always... Auntie Sherra, Uncle Tom, Karleigh & Nicholas XOXOXO - Posted by: Auntie Sherra, Uncle Tom, Karleigh & Nicholas (Family) on: Jan 25, 2005

  • Scott and family. Scott we were so sorry to hear of your loss. It has been many years since we have seen each other but as soon as I heard about your daughter I put it together and realized it was you. I can not imagine the loss you feel, to lose a child is something we should never have to endure. May God bless you and your family and please send sympathy to Sherra and your Mom and Dad. God Bless you now and for always. Sheona (Steinhauer) - Posted by: Sheona (Steinhauer) & Dwayne Miller (Friend) on: Jan 24, 2005

  • Mel, you're such an amazing person. You were the life of our Cosmetology class. You had a nac for making everyone smile and laugh. Your bubbliness and happiness drew people to you. You always told me how hot i was, and how i was able to get any one i wanted. Mel, i'll never get to come to school in the morning to you sitting on the floor waving at me- waiting to come closer so you could stand up and hug me. I miss you so much Mel. I can't wait to see you on the other side. - Posted by: Meagan (Friend) on: Jan 24, 2005
