Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT WILLIAM WILSON Peacefully, on Friday, January 21, 2005, Robert passed away at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife Florence; sons, Terry and Dale (Carol); daughter-in-law Carol; grandchildren, Mindy, Rae, Rob, Evan, Shaun and Haley (Jamie); great-granddaughter Janessa; sisters, Lois Balcaen (Charlie) and Shirley Lawson (Arnold) and brother Barney as well as numerous relatives and friends. Bob was born in 1925 in Rathwell, MB where he completed his schooling. He worked at the Olgilvie grain elevator in Rathwell until moving to Winnipeg in 1959. There he was employed by Allis Chalmers and the St. James School Division until his retirement in 1989. In subsequent years his pleasures came from trips to a fly-in fishing camp with Charlie and Barney, working in his garden, tinkering in his shed, doing his crosswords, playing cribbage and visiting in his backyard with Norm, Roger, Caribou and others passing by. He was a great help caring for many of his senior neighbours. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. in St. James United Church, 234 Parkview St. with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to Leukemia Research Fund of Canada, 310-1682 West 7th Ave., Vancouver, BC V6J 4S6 or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1101-191 Lombard Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B OX1.
