SISTER MARIE FRANCINE ABGRALL SOEUR DU SAUVEUR 1915 - 2005 On Saturday, January 22, 2005, Sister Francine passed away peacefully at Tache Centre where she had been a resident for two years. During her life Sister had grieved the loss of her parents Yves and Marie Jeanne Rannou both born in France, her brother Louis, a baby brother Herve and Herve her 19 year old brother who died as a soldier in Hong Kong. Three sisters Francine (Bard), Gabrielle (Remillard), Yvonne (Tetreault) also preceeded her to the Lord. In her years of retirement she has given herself totally to hours of prayer and meditation. Her heart was full of love for the prayerful people she met in charismatic prayer groups. The time she spent in listening to people in pain, in praying with sick people, in helping people search their way to God, were her beloved, and time with them was so precious. Prayers for Sister Francine will be on Tuesday, January 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel 233-4949. A funeral mass to celebrate Sister's life will be at l'eglise Precieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St., Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Father Isaie Blanchette o.m.i. presiding. Interment will take place on Thursday, January 27 at 1:30 p.m. in Notre Dame de Lourdes. Prayers will be recited at the church with Fr. Alphonse Bongo, the sisters, family and friends before the burial in the Parish Cemetery, where, with sadness and love we will part with Sister till we meet again in her resurrected life.
