SHANNON LEE MCLEOD April 26, 1985 - January 21, 2005 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear foster girl, Shannon. She was predeceased by her foster mother Juliette Lachance on October 29, 1998; her foster great-grandparents, James and Maggie McLeod and Moses and Eva Gore; her grandfather Alec McLeod; and her uncle Anthony McLeod. Shannon is survived by her foster dad Sylvio Lachance and family, Lisette (son Tariq), Serge and foster brother Mitchell Rasmussen. She also leaves to mourn her mother Shirley Robinson (stepfather Robert); and siblings, Kirk, Jonathan and Brandy; as well as many friends and family from Cross Lake, MB. Shannon will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many friends at the Dakota Collegiate, Hastings School, and Sparky's Summer Camp, and all whose lives she touched. The family extends special thanks to Claudette and Joanne Vielfaur-Romaniuk for all the help and support they gave us. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Ray Baudry at the St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, 135 John Forsyth Rd. in St. Vital, on Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. The service will terminate at the church.
