FRANK MASI Peacefully on January 22, 2005 Frank Masi, beloved husband of Angie Masi, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 68. He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Mary (Bruce) Buchanan, Felice (Frank) Rossi and his precious grandchildren, Ryan, Stacie, Daniel, and Michael. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Angie (Mario) Fiorentino, brother Tony (Josie) Masi of Victoria, and brother Dr. Ralph Masi of Toronto; sister-in-law Connie (Alfred) Cantafio; and brother-in-law Domenic (Cenzina) Caligiuri. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and numerous cousins and friends. Frank was predeceased by his mother Maria in 2004 and his father Giuseppe in 1989. Frank was born December 10, 1936 in Amato, Italy. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1952. He was a hard worker, passionate gardener, and self taught tradesperson. Frank enjoyed spending his leisure time at his farm. His entertaining personality, generosity, and love of life made for many happy times. Frank demonstrated unconditional love to his family. It was always easier for him to give than to receive. Thank you for giving us so much. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Ryan Buchanan, Domenic Caligiuri, Greg Fiorentino, Joe Fiorentino, Michael Cantafio and Doug Porteous. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Rossi, Joe Masi B.C., Carmelo Aiello, Mario Fiorentino and Alfred Cantafio. Prayer vigil will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 8:00 p.m. St. Vital Parish at 1629 Pembina Hwy. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Vital Parish with Rev. Fr. Morand presiding. Entombment will be held at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. You always had that special answer, or story that touched our hearts. We will truly miss you Dad. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • To Mary and Felice - I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I'm sure you have many great memories to get you through these difficult days and weeks. I think of how Frank looked out for Mary and I during our University Days at U of M when he worked there. He always had a smile for me and I appreciated his guidance during our 'wild and stupid' years! Please pass along our sympathies to the rest of your family. - Posted by: Julie Axford Scott (Acquaintance) on: Jan 25, 2005
