GERALD IAN WILKINSON Beloved Husband June 17, 1934 - January 21, 2005 After a lengthy illness, but quite a will to survive, Gerry passed away peacefully, in his sleep at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Gerry was a wonderful and loving husband to Muriel (Mert) for over 50 years; the greatest of all fathers, so full of life, love and laughter, to his children, Ginger, Jay and Tammy Sue (Guy Stevenson); and grandfather to Gage Stevenson. He is also survived by his sister Audrey and brothers, Dennis, Ray, Reg, and Doug. Thank you Doug for being near our dad's side and Ray, for your gentle tear drops. Gerry was predeceased by both parents; his daughter Judy; his sisters, Irene and Doreen; brother Roland. Gerry was a gifted painter all his life following in his fathers Samuel's' footsteps. He was unique and loved making plaster plaques and airbrush painting them. He loved going to the cabin, fishing, games and gardening, but most of all he loved his wife, family and friends. We thank Seven Oaks Hospital staff in Unit 7, for their support and sincerity with our hardship, and Dr. Moncek. In accordance with Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held to honour Gerald on Wednesday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Pastor Jim Portier officiating. Interment of Gerry's ashes will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed by everyone, forever and always, for Gerry's love was so ever deep. He was fun loving and had a great spirit.
