RICHARD DICK BOUDREAU It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces the passing of Richard Boudreau, husband, father, grandfather and friend of many. Richard passed peacefully in his sleep after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joan; children, Bradley (Therese), Brent (Donna) and Lori-Ann; grandchildren, Serena, Aaron and Taylor. He is also survived by his mother Dora; brother Jim (Lillian); sister Elsie (George); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Arthur; and brother John. Dick was born in Fort Frances, ON, and moved to Winnipeg to raise a family and pursue his ambition to become a locomotive engineer in 1961. Dick spent 41 years creating friendships amongst his co-workers before retiring in January, 1993. He spent much of his time in the enjoyment phase of his life traveling to the winter house in Texas, managing and umpiring teams for the Flashbacks Baseball Seniors League. His generosity and commitment to honour his family will never be forgotten by his family members and those who knew him best. The memorial service will be held on Friday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 325 Rosseau Ave. E., with Father Gerry Ward officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dick may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
