MANUEL PACHECO July 24, 1925 - January 25, 2005 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 79 years. Manuel was predeceased by his wife Maria Luiza (1983); his two brothers, Jose and Augusto and his sister Maria dos Anjos. He will be lovingly missed by his daughters, Maria dos Anjos and Carlos and Odete and Filipe; grandchildren, Kathy, Nilton, Debbie, Roberto, Phillip and Matthew; his brother Joao (Fatima); sister Lurdes (Abilio); nieces, nephews and many other family members. Dad came from Sao Miguel, Acores to Canada in 1956. He worked for CNR until his retirement. He was known for spending many hours in his garden, telling stories and for the tremendous love that he had for his family. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the care and special attention given to dad. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 28 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros presiding. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Manuel's memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
