Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTRACY ANNE HUGHES Peacefully, after a courageous four and a half year battle with ovarian cancer, Tracy passed into God's Kingdom on December 7, 2004 in Victoria, BC at the age of 42. Tracy was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 17, 1962. She will be forever cherished by her daughter Ashley; her parents, Jenny and Bud; brother Colin; Uncle Jack (Jeanine) Hughes; godfather Uncle Walter (Lorraine) Lichacz; great Aunt Adeline Siwik and family; in-laws, Sandra and Gene Daigle and family, many relatives and friends. At the time of her demise Tracy was working at the TD Bank Canwest Branch, Victoria, BC. Tracy was involved with softball and keen to travel. In 2002 she came to Winnipeg to watch her beloved Blue Bombers in the freezing cold. In 2003 she travelled to South Africa to see her childhood pen pal and in late 2004 a trip to Toronto with her mother. Tracy was a member of the Ladies Guild and taught Sunday School at The Church of the Advent (Anglican) in Victoria, BC. Tracy was involved with the Canadian Cancer Society in Victoria and helped with cancer runs. Tracy was loved and respected by all who knew her as attested by over 200 people who attended the celebration of her life in Victoria, BC on December 11, 2004. Tracy's final resting place is in a beautiful rose garden on the church grounds beside the church. A further celebration of Tracy's life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 300 Hugo St. at Mulvey Avenue, off Corydon Avenue. officiated by the Rev. Canon A.M.L. Klassen In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
