Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED CLERIHEW After a long full life Fred Clerihew peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 96 years. Fred was born on December 31, 1908 on the Clerihew Homestead in Oak Bluff, MB. Dad met and married Edna Whettell and together they raised four children, son Lorne; daughters, Carol Adam, Eileen (Ron Didora) and Margaret; grandchildren, Michael Adam (Cheryl Lynn), Cheryl Dawn (Tim Chubaty), Heather Didora and Blair Didora; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Bryanna Chubaty; sister Mary; and sisters-in-law, Jessie and Sheila. Fred was predeceased by his wife Edna; brothers, Roberty and Albert; and sisters, Annie, Elizabeth, Gertrude and Mae. In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to homecare for making it possible for Dad to remain at home as long as possible. A very special thanks to all the caring staff at Poseidon Care Centre and to Dr. S. Permack and Dr. Jain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the End of Life Program, Poseidon Care Centre, 70 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg, MB R3M 3E5 or a charity of one's choice.
