KATHLEEN (KAY) SHEA It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Kathleen Shea on Monday, January 24, 2005 at the West Park Manor. Kay leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her daughter, Erin (Bruce) Billson and her granddaughters, Britt and Olivia. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Margaret Lenton and Kay Ahern along with her nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jack and her brothers and sisters. Our memories of Mom are fond and many. She enjoyed the mountains in her younger years and later found enjoyment travelling the world. Her greatest pleasure was found among family and friends and spending time at the cottage at Belair. Britt and Livi were the light of her life and she was very proud of them. Whenever she could, she was always involved and interested in whatever they did. In Mom's own words, She was good while she lasted. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff of West Park Manor for the compassionate care given to Mom during her stay there. Words are not enough to show the appreciation we have for our dear friend, Doug, who was there for Mom as well as us. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 or to St. Mary's Academy Foundation, 550 Wellington Cres., Winnipeg, MB R3M 0C1. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. (parking access off Roblin Boulevard). A reception will follow the service.
