HILDEGARD ELLI GERTRUD GOERZEN Mrs. Hildegard Elli Gertrud Goerzen passed away in Coquitlam, BC, on January 15, 2005. Hildegard was born on January 19, 1922, in Landsberg, a.d. Warthe, Brandenburg, Germany. Having survived a tumultuous young life in Europe, she came to Canada in 1952 and settled in Winnipeg with her husband, where she raised her family. Her retirement years were spent in Vancouver, where she enjoyed gardening, the West Coast and the Gulf Islands. Hildegard was predeceased by her husband, Arthur. She will always be remembered by her family, sons, Rainer and Roland and grandson, Michael (Janous) of Vancouver and son, Rolf (Rhonda) and granddaughter, Chelise of Calgary.
