Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK (JOHN JEFFREY) DANIELS It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Jack Daniels announces his passing on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at Concordia Hospital. Jack passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn him, his beloved wife Dolores; daughter Judyth and her husband Dr. Howard Cross; son John and his wife Rozaline (nee Gus) Daniels; grandchildren, John A. Daniels and Heather Leigh Daniels; sister Valerie (Ken) Wolfe; brothers Austin Bud (Audrey) Daniels, Bob (Shirley) Daniels; sisters-in-law, Mae Hunter and June Mihalchuk; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Jack was born on February 23, 1929, in Brandon, MB, and educated in Winnipeg. He spent his career as a salesman and manufacturers' agent, travelling extensively in western Canada in the 60s and 70s and developing a wide circle of business friends and associates. He was associated with Cooper Business Forms at the time of his death. He was a member of St Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church and an enthusiastic participant in the 1988 celebrations of the Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine, working hard in two projects: the publication of a series of commemorative books and essays, and the striking of a Millennium medallion a project close to his heart. His life was about his family: his beloved wife and best friend Dolores, their children, and their cherished grandchildren. He was a devoted and generous friend and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Friends and family will be received immediately afterward. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, January 31 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., Rev. Dmytro Dnistrian officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul. Those who wish to may make a donation to the Shrine of Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky, in care of St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, or to the charity of their choice. The family extends sincerest thanks to Dr. Pat Harris and the staff of Concordia Hospital, 3B, for their kindness and compassion. I warmed both hands before the fire of life. It sinks, and I am ready to depart - Walter Savage Landor, 1850 CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
