Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE ZDEBIAK January 6, 1910 - January 25, 2005 Peacefully on January 25, 2005 at 6:37 a.m. our loving mother and grandmother passed away at the Morley House of Shoal Lake, at the age of 95 years. Mom was born and raised near Elphinstone on January 6, 1910. She spent her early years of married life in Dauphin and later moved to Strathclair where she spent her remaining years. Rose was predeceased by her parents, John and Anne Usick and by her husband Alex (Sandy); sisters, Mary Skabar, Alice (Fred) Homik, Olive Firth; brothers, Mike, Frank (Rose), Peter and Fred. She was also predeceased by many in-laws. Mom will be sadly missed by son Walter and his wife Annette and by her grandson Rodney James and his wife Wendy. Also left to mourn her passing are brothers-in-law, Tony Skabar, Tony (Marion) Zdebiak; sisters-in-law, Jennie (Joe) Nykoliation, Kay (Peter) Kyrylik, Margaret Nichols and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Morley House for the care given to mom. Prayers will be held on Monday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Rae's Funeral Chapel, Shoal Lake. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Elphinstone with interment in the Parish Cemetery. Rev. Deacon Conrad Plante will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ross Skabar, Marvin Minuk, Doug Smiley, Perry Kretai, Les Kretai, and Peter Goers.
