  • Just wanted to tell you uncle John that I still miss seeing you and hearing you laugh. You were always a friendly guy who loved jokes and a good project to work on. Maybe I got that from you-I am a hard working creative person when it comes to home projects. You were a great brother to mom as was uncle Bill. You inspired me to travel-especially to Hawaii and Europe. You inspired me to watch my money and like mom make the best of what I have...actually make amazing of what I had. I loved your house with the cool french doors and little crystal nobs and how you cared for your home. You showed me how to take care of my belongings. Thank you for sharing our family history with me, telling me about my grandmother who died when mom was only a young teen. Thank you for coming to Canada and getting all our family here. Thank you for sharing stories about Romania and the traditions there. Thanks for all the little things you made mom for our house that made her life easier. Thank you for recognising how hard all us kids worked to make a better life for us. Thank you for loaning me the money to buy a brand new piano but helping me create a pay back schedule to help me pay you back so you saw I wasn't trying to take advantage of you. I wanted you to visit more when I was a kid and always appreciated you and aunty Kathy coming for family holiday celebrations. I am sorry you had to slip away with Alzheimer's and that I couldn't handle visiting you when you weren't the same person I knew. I pray that God has healed all your illnesses and you are with Aunty Kathy in heaven being a good brother to mom again. Miss you uncle john....Love Lianne - Posted by: Lianne Chmelnytzki-Kilfoyle (niece) on: Nov 14, 2012
