Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNESTOR MANALAYSAY MATIAS February 25, 1950 - January 27, 2005 Peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2005, with his family and friends at his side, Nestor Matias passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Nestor was predeceased by his wife Perlita Pilapil Matias. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved daughters, Candice and Kim. He is survived by his mother Natividad Matias and will also be sadly missed by Tita Ising and her family and Marlou Cruzat. His memory will be cherished by his brothers, Romeo and Virgie and their family, Fred and his family, in-laws Chit and family, Luisa De Roca and Rufing and Epang Pilapil. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Rechie and Roland Filio, Ed and Myrna Pilapil, Beth and Nestor Macias, Lucy and Roger Pragides, Eleanor Delacruz, Levy and Wilfred Agawin, Myrla and Orly Sanchez, Lulu and Rey Estanislao, Baby and Alwyn Chan, Eric and Lisa Matias, Jeanette and Glen Cunanan and Rowena and John Palamos and Valerie and all their families. Also Romeo Jr, Jennifer, Rovir, Oliver and Ojay and all the relatives in the Philippines. Lamay (viewing) will be held on Thursday, February 3 and Friday February 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park , 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave. with interment following at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. A reception will follow interment at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Pallbearers will be Abe Guanlao, Jun Raymundo, Rudy Catbagan, Armando Garcia, Al Castro, Alex Bacomo, Danny Buan, Marlou Cruzat, Jameson Santiago and Henry Raymundo. Many thanks to the Health Sciences Centre, especially GH3, GH4 and D3 Wing for their care and support. Your fighting spirit and your passion for life will always be remembered.
