PHILLIP NEIL ROY It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our dear father and friend, Phillip Neil Roy. Phil passed peacefully January 28, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, MB knowing the love and support of his family. Phil was born in Winnipeg, MB on November 13, 1935, and was a long time resident of St. James. He was predeceased by his brother Norm and leaves to mourn his wife Marilyn; children, Donna (John Audette), Brenda (Ray Hill), Neil (Sharon), Lori (Kevin O'Neill), Linda (Blair Robillard); grandchildren, Alana (Jason), Amanda (Jamie), Nicole, Jessie, Rylee, Adrea, Sacha, Kassin, Genevieve; great-grandchildren, Talia and Tayne. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli and CancerCare Manitoba for all their kindness and help. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Phil's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. A memorial service for a celebration of Phil's life will take place on Thursday, February 3 at 1:30 p.m. in Matlock, MB at the Matlock Recreational Club, 77 Matlock Rd. Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

sorry to hear of your loss. we grew up with philip in the early years and thought of him as one of the family. but time slips away soo fast we never had a chance to keep in touch with him. we were very shocked to hear of him passing. take care. at least we have our memories. Sorry to hear of Phillip's passing. We have fond memories of the good old days on Kensington St. Phillip was a very good friend of ours and I often thought of him and how he was doing!
