YVONNE MARIE AUGUSTINE WINDING (nee SALTEL) November 23, 1933 - January 27, 2005 It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announces the passing of Yvonne Winding, mother, sister, aunt, nana and friend at the age of 71. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Octavie Saltel and sister Henriette. Yvonne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughters, Sandra (Neil) and Michelle (Kurt); sisters, Cecile (Bill), Annette (David) and Emilie; special friend Vic; many nieces and nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Yvonne loved to spend time with family and friends and those memories will be cherished by all. Sandra and Michelle would like to thank Auntie Cecile, Auntie Emilie and Vic for the time they spent with Mom everyday. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care for their care and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Yvonne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or a Catholic mass offered in Yvonne's name would be appreciated.
