GARNETT DEVEREAUX ARNOLD Peacefully in his sleep, Garnett (Case) Devereaux Arnold passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on January 29, 2005 in his 82nd year. Predeceased by his wife Violet in 2000, Garnett will be sadly missed by his only son Richard (Dick) and his wife Sharon; grandchildren, Heather and Christopher; sister Helen Draper of Brampton, ON; very special friend Kay Jonkman; numerous nieces and nephews. Garnett was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Garnett was born in 1922 in Meota, SK. He served for 25 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police followed by several years as an investigator with the Federal Government up until his retirement. Garnett was a loving, kind and generous person, whose life centred around his family and friends. His grandchildren were very special to him. He enjoyed long walks, travelling and being with his friends and family. He had many special friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held on February 2 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave. Cremation to follow.
