Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM GLUCHY Peacefully, on January 27, 2005, William Gluchy, aged 88 years, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, following a brief illness. William was predeceased by his parents, John and Fedora Gluchy; brother Alex; sisters, Mary and Helen and nephew Steve. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Pearl (Jean) Neron, nephews, Jean Jr. (Lisa) and Marcel; brother Mike and family, nieces and nephews, Les (Lorrette) Ivaniski; Marvel (Dan) Olesnuk; Dorothy (Alex) Prychitkio; Pauline Ivaniski; Nick (Ruth) Ivaniski; Jeanette Seavers; Olga (Bert) Olandu; Violet (Ron) Sitka; Walter (Betty) Ivaniski. Born January 18, 1917, William attended the Manitoba School for the Deaf. His hobbies were fishing, bowling, bingo and travelling. He was employed with Dominion Bridge for 34 years, retiring at the age of 65. After his retirement he volunteered for the Deaf Centre. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. I will miss you from the bottom of my heart as you where my best friend. You use to come with Brian and his mom to bingo all the time and visit at the Deaf Centre of Manitoba when i was working there. We shared alot of memories and there where times that you gave me a tip or 2 and it helps. But now you have move up with kitty , Brian's mom and dad. May you rest in peace Bill . I will greatly miss you my friend, we knew each other for a long time. I will miss our visits,our talks and our friendship. I know you are with my mom and dad and kitty. You have earned a good rest. I will MISS YOU. I still can't believe that your gone. Everytime I drive by your house I will think of you and all the good times we had, fishing,going to the lake, dcm.
